Job Purpose

Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the hotel by ensuring assigned areas are cleaned and maintained to the required standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms, offices, public areas, and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize designated areas.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report stock shortages.
• Dispose of waste and maintain proper hygiene standards.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, and safety hazards.
• Handle cleaning equipment and materials safely.
• Comply with health, safety, and hotel policies.
• Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

 Person Specification:

  A. Qualification

  Minimum of Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or a Certificate in Hospitality or any other related field from a recognized institution.

 B. Work Experience

 Working experience in a corporate environment.

 C. Competencies and skills.

• Time management
• Working with teams
• emotional intelligence
• Ability work for extended hours.
